Aim of the Job
The Project Officer is overall responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and to required standard as per Philips specifications- Project execution. He/she is responsible as well for supporting the execution of the Order Realization Process (ORP) and autonomous proactive Involvement in Order Acquisition Process (OAP).
Support Order Acquisition Process (OAP) - Site planning
Work closely together with the sales team / Key Account Manager to support the OAP
Site assessments to understand the local situation and the real customer need
Accurately complete the site conformance data and the handshake processes with Sales.
Trigger Site Planning (produced by Business Center) to create a site preparation package to get upfront insight in room lay-out and technical specifications
Create project plans
Perform risk assessment during the OAP to meet Customer needs and to create a beneficial quote
Provides functional support towards distributors in the region Support Order Realization Process (ORP) - Installation Project
Be the main interface during the project towards the customer
Weekly update on site progress to ascertain the start of production and shipment of ordered goods
Liaise closely with CFC to manage customer expectations in start of production and shipment of goods
Create project and milestone date
Ensure that all required materials, resources and activities are ordered, planned and executed.
Weekly review installation project plan with all stakeholders
Manage issues according escalation process
Manage risks and ensure that the project stays within budget and on-time
Organize the execution of the actual installation and required user training
Ensure Customer Acceptance (and signed handover document).
Escalate deviations from plan / budget to Project Manager
Able to support full-multi modality projects including Turnkey Projects
Display Philips project leadership for complex projects where in addition to regular external parties also integrating competitor products/services are required
We are looking for
Experienced in Customer management; able to interact with representatives at customer site
Experienced in Contract Management: Understanding what to include in a contract and managing external contracts (preferable)
Broad knowledge of planning methods and estimation techniques (resource, cost, time and risk)
BSc Degree level education or equivalent
Project Management Certificate is a high advantage
Has a broad knowledge of Tender processes and contract construction
Experience in Customer Negotiating
Experience in working within cross functional teams
Has commercially and contractually experience in order to understand the project deliverable objectives, ensuring that the project is delivered in line with the contractual obligations.
Ability to access risk and produce relevant plan for management of risk
Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language
Working knowledge in French is an advantage
