Philips Business & Quality Analyst, Business Solutions in Alpharetta, Georgia
Philips is seeking someone to coordinate, consult and perform business analyst and quality analyst activities around various business solutions initiatives for the Philips Healthcare North America Customer Services organization. Based in Alpharetta, as a Business and Quality Analyst, you will regular interface and represent the business solutions team with the business stakeholders and IT organizations (where relevant) to ensure a successful solution is implemented.
As a Business and Quality Analyst, you will own and drive business needs and requirements elicitation, prioritization and influencing the solution requirements and design to meet desired business goals, sustain current tools/solutions functionality and provide QA and technical documentation support in translating business requirements to Sales Force / MS Share Point/ other platform functionality including debugging and documentation.
You will be responsible for
Business Analysis- 40% of time includes the following:
Perform analysis of business needs and requirements, eliciting requirements from various stakeholders, build consensus and define scope and detailed requirements for specific proposed business solutions.
Define the business case for objectives of new projects, including identification, prioritization of business needs.
Quality Assurance- 40% of time includes the following:
Develop, maintain and manage test plans, test cases/scripts for all business solutions/tools supported by the business solutions team.
Engage in new project planning/execution to understand business needs and plan testing approach and test details to support high quality process and product development. Document all QA artifacts supporting software validation and Quality & Regulatory requirements utilized by Philips
Customer Relationship, Project Management & Collaboration - 20% of time includes the following:
Provide communication and present on status and updates to all levels of leadership within NA and global in a timely manner; anticipate needs of the customer and communicate proactively and effectively based on needs and personality styles of audience
Manage relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and attend pertinent customer meetings to understand business needs and wants and collect ongoing feedback from customers

We are looking for
Experience in business analyst responsibilities for software tools/application development across various platforms and documenting business requirements
Experience in project and cross functional team leadership and management.
Experience using agile methodology for software development and leading agile scrum teams.
Demonstrated experience in successful software deployment in large organizations.
Experience in creation of functional spec’s and project documentation.
Experience in QA process with software development
Experience with documentation and revision control
Sales Force technical experience/skills along with general technical platform experience with SharePoint, custom .Net etc.
Ability to drive complex software project technical solutions.
Excel, Visio, Access, MS Project, SharePoint
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as part of a cross business team.
Ability to multitask with complex projects and assignments to meet business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels including process technical documentation for regulatory review.
Ability to work cohesively and effectively with employees at different levels / departments of the organization.
Ability to work with international teams effectively with design and deployment.
Demonstrated to build an effective team and properly manage stakeholders.
Software development / deployment methodology. Experience supporting existing previously developed software
Years of Experience:
10+ years of overall business and technology experience/ skills including business analyst, quality analyst and some project management experience comprised of the following:
5+ years strong BA experience, eliciting and document business requirements/user stories, functional/technical requirement
5+ years working with tool applications like Sales Force, Share Point, Mobile apps, .Net apps and applying them to solve business problems
5+ years strong QA experience, documenting and planning testing strategies, test cases/scripts and performing quality assurance for software tools & solutions
5+ years strong experience in software development using agile methodology, leading scrum teams
2+ years as a project manager managing highly complex projects impacting multiple business units and/or leading cross functional business and technical teams
3+ years as a consultant or performing consulting role (preferred)
A four-year degree in a technical/ business related field
Certification: TQM, Lean, GB certification or other equivalent Six Sigma training/ expertise (preferred)
