In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work on the tools that Philips Wellcentive uses to measure, maintain and improve the data quality of our customers. Data Quality is an integral function of everything we do and as such, these tools are critical to our business. As well, you will have the opportunity to function dually as a developer and SCRUM expert.
You are responsible for
Leading the ceremonies of an Agile team
Defining and improving the processes for an Agile team
Working with the team’s development manager to produce metrics to measure efficiency, quality and predictability of the team
Removing organizational blockers for the team
Contributing to team velocity
Full stack development on the existing Java application
You are a part of
Philips Wellcentive, which has driven quality improvement, revenue growth and business transformation for providers, health systems, employers and payers transitioning to value-based care. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Knowledge of Scrum theory and ceremonies
3+ years of Java EE development
Expert knowledge of relational databases (preferably MySQL)
Expert knowledge of Linux (RedHat/CentOS)
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with AngularJS, Spring and Hibernate
Knowledge of REST methodologies
Experience of web proxies, frameworks and caches (NGINX, Tornado or Redis)
Knowledge of Hadoop/Hbase (a plus)
