The Product Manager is accountable for defining, launching and building profitable product solution platforms that transform healthcare. This person will work directly with R&D and other marketing functions to ensure the products/solutions are developed to the feature and price specifications that each target market segment demands. The Product Manager owns the product lifecycle from concept phase through development and launch and eventually, end of life. The Product Manager is required to have deep expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.

You are responsible for

  • Works, as a product marketing specialist, on the development of the medium term product marketing policy for his or her product portfolio, and processes results into a vision/roadmap.

  • Distinctive is a high degree of original, out of the box thinking, needed to find solutions to the assignments.

  • Formulates new product marketing solutions by integral, original thinking and adds new concepts/elements to his or her product portfolio.

  • Combines abstract ideas at a high conceptual level, and generates new types of product marketing solutions.

  • Formulates, as a recognized authority in product marketing, solutions across multiple disciplines to effectively achieve goals together.

  • Builds active networks with key contacts in- and outside Philips for his or her product portfolio to keep abreast of new developments/insights

You are a part of

A team that will provides the strategy for the Philips Wellcentive Population Health system, combining customer requirements and needs, market direction and competitive challenges, and trends in the healthcare industry, into a product roadmap and strategy. Our team works with the development team, the marketing team, and the services team, to lead our products from the design and development, to testing, customer validation and implementation. You’ll work with other product managers, as well as business analysts, scrum team members, marketing and customer service teams, and other product teams throughout the Philips organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a product of software development leader

  • 3+ years in Healthcare Information Technology Industry

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.

  • Experience in business process management, lean startup, and agile / scrum methodologies.

  • Experience in UI/UX design, and customer experience improvement.

  • Deep expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development

  • Experience in the product lifecycle process or methodology.

  • Ability to translate complex business goals into clearly understandable product strategy.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with teams inside and outside the organization.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – both in the healthcare field as well as in the software and technology space. Concise, specific, logical, clear and understandable.

  • Strong presentation skills, experience leading discussions and moderating validation sessions.

  • MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel
