The Technical Program Manager works with the customer organization to develop a data integration strategy and manage all aspects of the integration including interface implementation and ongoing data quality activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular calls with the customer organization and supporting Technical Analysts/Consultants as needed to provide status updates, action plans, and risk mitigation strategies related to the data integration project. Manage and address customer inquires and escalations related to interfacing and data quality.

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Services team members to ensure timely and quality deliverables are completed for customer integration projects.

  • Collaborate closely with Program Manager (Program Services) to ensure data integration activities align and support the customer’s project goals.

  • Understand data files of various formats (delimited, HL7, CCD(A), X12 837) and provide meaningful feedback to third-party vendor and customer to drive resolution of identified issues.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the customer and Program Manager on the “healthcare data landscape” and proactively provide recommendations and solutions to drive a successful integration.

  • As needed, write custom SQL to research and analyze data received via interface.

  • Recognize standard (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD9, CPT, etc.) and non-standard, custom terminologies common in healthcare data sources. Serve as the subject matter expert on common usage of these standards in healthcare data sources and their usage within Wellcentive.

  • Articulate requirements and participate in testing as needed with interface development team for any needed interface configuration enhancements and issue fixes.

  • Document final interface configuration specifications for distribution to internal and external teams.

  • Assist technical support and data quality teams with customer communications related to complex technical issues or projects.

  • Mentor and provide training for Technical Analysts specifically around customer and project management strategies.

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally computer science or similar) or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year of SQL experience in any RDBMS platform.

  • Experience with ETL processing.

  • Passion for customer service, problem solving, and developing creative solutions.

  • Ability to write and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to serve as an authority for healthcare data integration strategies and project planning.

  • Experience in healthcare industry.

  • Experience with HL7 2.x, CCD/CCDA, X12, and other standards.

  • Familiarity with clinical terminologies (ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, HCPCS).

  • Experience with clinical analytics, medical informatics, or quality measures.

  • Familiar with Agile development methodology is preferred
