Primarily focus on ad-hoc reporting / analyis to support Markets Leadership

FP&A Analyst

In this role, you have the opportunity to

be part of a dynamic team with exposure to Philips Leadership in combination with a steep learning curve. Within HealthTech Markets scope you will deliver actionable forward-looking analysis & insights for decision making and value creation by taking ownership of lean and efficient processes. You will primarily support Markets Leadership and partner with Markets, BG’s and Group Functions such as Investor Relations and ARIC.

You will be responsible for

  • Provide HealthTech Markets financial performance (ad hoc) analysis including monthly, quarterly, AOP, forecast and latest view, to the Markets Leadership

  • Organize planning & coordinate periodical deliverables for Markets Leadership

  • Drive Working Capital analytics within Commercial team to global key stakeholders

  • Support target setting process for Balance Sheet (Working Capital)

  • Support and drive Strategic Process for Markets

  • Partner with and support Investor Relations and FP&A – PPA in delivering Markets insights for ExCo and external stakeholders

  • Improve and coordinate reporting and analytics for Markets in cooperation with Chennai team members

  • Participate, contribute and drive continuous improvement actions and projects in area of responsibilities

The Group Markets team is responsible for Markets Planning and Performance management Analysis & Reporting and focuses on ensuring management information and insights are available and used effectively to drive performance and transparency.

You are a part of

The FP&A Commercial - Group Markets team which supports the Markets Leadership and is part of the Global Commercial FP&A Centre of Excellence within Philips. The team pivots between Markets Leadership (Chief of International Markets (ExCo), Markets Head of Finance, Head of Commerce), (local) Market Finance teams, FP&A Markets Support team and the FP&A Planning, Performance and Analysis team. The team consists of 6 (international) FTE’s and is based in Amsterdam & Chennai (India). You will report to the FP&A Commercial - Group Markets team lead.

The Global Commercial FP&A Centre of Excellence is a strong international and dynamic team of approximately 90 people with diverse backgrounds and a strong focus on speed, discipline, and execution. The HealthTech FP&A team is part of the Philips worldwide FP&A organization enabling a collaborative cross sector working, support and knowledge sharing.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Msc. degree preferably in either Economics or Business Administration related studies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Just graduated or max 1 or 2 year working experience

  • High level of self-motivation

  • Excellent knowledge of excel and analytical drive

  • Flexible, ability to set priorities and used to deliver content at tight timelines

  • Business acumen – ability to look beyond the report & spreadsheet to the key issues at hand and effectively bring them forward

  • Fluent in English
