The Global Learning & Development Lead manages all aspects of effective, efficient, consistent and integrated learning deployment within the assigned scope and aligned with the ways of working and governance of the Philips University. This role covers a global scope and has a large mandate in a changing environment. Talent & Talent development are key to the success of the program for Philips!
We are looking for a fearless change driver and natural leader, who works well with all levels of management and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve results.
Lead the implementation of the global learning strategy and aligned with the ways of working and governance of the Philips University;
Lead the learning design, development and deployment based on specific local requirements and needs;
Deliver the global learning strategy within assigned budget and on time;
Clearly convey details regarding learning deployment and planning towards key business stakeholders in markets, business and functions;
Ensure effective learning assessment and evaluation practices are done, and defines improvement initiatives accordingly;
Ensure consistent and best-in-class deployment for E2E education & training across a hub-model;
Continuously monitor learning deployment effectiveness and implements necessary revisions in learning strategy, deployment activities;
Lead and manage the global learning team including learning deployment resources;
Effectively partner with the Philips University to ensure that learning strategy and deployment is within Philips University standards and ways of working.
This team focusses on improving quality, accountability and effectiveness of the back office via an E2E process view. Key initiative is to align the core functions to deliver agile solutions to our customers across the rapidly growing HealthTech space with the power of analytics & continuous improvement. You will have local direct reports in several locations globally.

We are looking for
A seasoned Global Lead, that considers themselves in the top 5% of Learning & Development management talent worldwide. Our ideal candidate is the active and dynamic driver of change and transformation, and is experienced in launching large global projects across different functions and countries.
Further, we are looking for the following characteristics:
Minimum 12 years working experience as a learning and development professional in a global multinational company, including team management responsibilities
Demonstrated leadership experience in various aspects of the end-to-end learning cycle including needs analysis, learning design and development, learning delivery and learning evaluation
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable, repeatable learning solutions - leveraging learning technology - from initial assessment through final implementation;
Ability to lead and influence across complex organizational boundaries, global boundaries and diverse cultures in a hub-model;
Demonstrated experience as a change agent, change leader in transformation with ability to influence through complex systems;
Flexibility to travel occasionally.
