Philips Internship: Online Content Manager (Suitable for Thesis) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern Philips is looking for?

As the Digital Marketing Intern you will be supporting various digital campaigns and projects, as well as the management of online content. You will report to the Digital Manager.

It’s a challenging role that will not only give you a good understanding of digital marketing but also grant you the experience of working multi-nationally and cross-functionally. Most importantly, this internship offers you the opportunity to contribute with your creative initiatives and lead your own projects while being coached by a team.

Your responsibilities

  • Support in ongoing digital projects, including project management and ad hoc analysis

  • Creation of online materials and Social media management, especially YouTube

  • Prepare regular updates of project presentations and dashboards for our digital campaigns and projects

  • Work with markets around the globe on digital optimization and other ongoing projects

  • Support daily tasks, including content management in systems and ad hoc requests

  • Take ownership of your own projects from start to finish

Your team

You will be part of the Coffee M2O team and will be based in Amsterdam. This team consists of dedicated (Online) Content Managers, Campaign Manager, Digital Marketers, Digital Analytics and Market Intelligence professionals having all a passion for Coffee Business.

You will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in both, the Netherlands (e.g., consumer marketing team, M2O team, market intelligence specialists) and in the different markets (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).

  • It can be discussed to make this internship assignment suitable for thesis

  • Duration: 6-12 months

  • We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than July/August 2017

Internship conditions:

  • Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.

  • A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.

  • A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.

  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

  • (International) Business Management

  • Business Informatics

  • Management Sciences

  • Communications

  • Engineering Mechanical

  • Mathematics

  • Industrial Design

  • Very skilled in Excel, PowerPoint

  • Great analytical skills

  • Fluent in oral and written English

  • Excellent networking / social skills

  • Team worker
