Philips Learning and Development Specialist - Enabling Functions in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Contribute to the capability building of the Royal Philips Enabling Functions Academy by leading projects in designing and implementing learning programs to support Procurement, Compliance and Philips Excellence. Own the end to end learning development process, from the design of learning offerings to development and deployment.
The Learning Specialist will work with Senior Leaders and different Advisory Boards to set the learning agenda for assigned functional areas and maintain consistent global governance standards. Responsibilities include all aspects of the Academy learning offering including design, development, continuous improvement of learning offerings (e.g. focus on next generation learning), portfolio maintenance and evaluation.
Furthermore you will be responsible for the following:
Global account management of assigned functions to ensure learning and development programs are aligned to and support business needs and functional transformation.
Develop the business case for proposed learning solutions including design options to enable cost conscious decision making (e.g. build, buy and/or optimize existing learning).
Work with content experts in the business to identify learning topics and objectives, create content outline for proposed learning solution and set the specification for delivery approach and channels.
Improve the efficiency of learning (ROI), evaluate outcomes, report and measure results of business impact post learning.
Track all learning and development programs against relevant schedule, budget and learning objectives and report on progress.
Produce dashboards for training completions and quality standards for all key stakeholders.
Set-up leader-led learning programs, train the trainer approaches and certification mechanisms as needed.
Manage processes and relationships with Philips University’s shared service teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
Develop the training capability to deliver the programs and plan the annual training calendar to ensure all relevant sites or groups have access to training.
You will be part of the Enabling Functions Academy and will report to the Learning Leader of the Enabling Functions and Philips Excellence Academy.

We are looking for
Master’s degree, or equivalent, ideally in a related field such learning, counselling, business or functional experience.
Demonstrated experience in designing, building and deploying learning programs for continuous improvement including Lean (Manufacturing, Office and Innovation) and Six Sigma (DMAIC/DFSS).
Has 5+ years of relevant experience working in learning processes, learning analysis and design.
Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices and thought leadership in the assigned learning areas in order to be able to design state of the art learning interventions.
Track record of applying the learning expertise in a practical way with demonstrable business impact.
Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
Proven program and project management skills.
Self-starter, team player, superior communicator with a results oriented attitude.
A broad network both inside and outside of Royal Philips.
