Philips Learning Specialist (Sales) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Your challenge

The Learning Specialist is responsible for the design, development and deployment of innovative (e-) learning offerings for the worldwide sales community within Philips.

In this role you will provide locally relevant propositions, using several learning devices & methodologies. Your initial focus is on designing learning solutions (sales capabilities) around lead and opportunity management that enable our sales force to meet the requirements in line with the agreed organizational strategy.

Your responsibilities

You will act as business partner and trusted advisor and use your learning background and experience to provide tailor-made advice.

Among other activities you will:

  • Develop and deploy blended learning solutions for Sales

  • Implement a range of learning interventions and ensure its consistency with Philips University design and delivery standards

  • Guide and support pilot learning program deployment

  • Create and maintain the learning portfolio by liaising with shared services, vendors and other learning specialists.

  • Develop and maintain strong internal (learning shared services center and Business Stakeholders) and external (vendor) relationships

  • Manage and be fully responsible for learning program budgets

  • Apply and help to improve standardization of learning - share best practices and outside-in thinking

  • Improving the efficiency of training (ROI), evaluate outcomes and measure after training impact

  • Manage and support Interns during their assignment

  • Architecting the learning strategy for specific areas of the business/functions

  • Responsible for stakeholder and portfolio management of existing flagships

You will be part of the M2O Academy team within the Philips University which has the sales community as their primary focus. You will also be part of a project team that focusses on improving Philips capabilities to win and deliver long-term and strategic partnerships with our customers (Hospitals). We are looking for

A learning specialist who is passionate about designing and developing impactful learning experiences to drive business growth.

  • Completed Master degree in relevant field.

  • At least 8 years relevant experience in learning and development using ADDIE; for a diverse audience (culturally and discipline wise)

  • Having specific sales knowledge and experience in consultative selling is preferred.

  • A proven track record in working within a complex global context / matrix organization

  • A creative mind in combination with a hands-on attitude (‘getting it done’)

  • Proven planning and project management skills and experience with working in projects in the area of business transformation.

  • An individual who is culturally sensitive (empathetic) and pragmatic

  • Excellent Communication skills and stakeholder management; presentation and influencing skills, trusted advisor and solid team player,

  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)

  • Mainly based in Amsterdam. Willing to travel to Eindhoven on a regular basis.
