Philips Product Owner - Salesforce.com M2O in Amsterdam, Netherlands

As Product Owner you are responsible for the strategy and direction of the Sales Cloud platform based on the company strategy and input from the various stakeholders such as the M2O (Market-to-Order) Business Process Owner (BPO), Business Process Experts (BPE’s), Market and Business Group representatives and Program/Project managers. You work closely together with these stakeholders on the demand from their respective domains to help assess and decide on business relevance and required effort.

You participate in Program and Requirement Planning sessions and in Change Review Boards of the BPO and BPE for initial request assessment and demand intake. You further participate in the Change Control Board (CCB) presenting the product release plan, assessing new business requirements and advising on acceptance and prioritization decisions in the CCB.

As Product Owner you provide or give access to product expertise when required from the business stakeholders. You gather, prioritize and manage product requirements coming from the business stakeholders and convey the stakeholders’ needs to the development team. You work with the development team on a daily basis to answer questions and make decisions, you accept or reject completed work during the sprints and decide on the release date for completed functionality. You present the delivery team’s accomplishments towards the relevant stakeholders after each product release.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years experience developing software solutions and associated project management

  • 3+ years working experience or demonstrable working knowledge of business domains supported (this case CRM, Sales, Marketing)

  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification is desirable

  • Certified and >2 years experience with SAFe Agile

  • 3+ years experience leading & directing a team to deliver a successful project.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Management – Creating a product roadmap, release and sprint planning together with the delivery team using the agile way of working, seeing releases through from inception to delivery, ensuring user stories are realized, risks are managed and budgets are adhered to. Responsible for delivering regular program updates as well as the Sprint, Iteration and Release reviews.

  • Product Vision Development – Collating information from various stakeholders and developing an overall solution vision and communicate that vision to stakeholders and the team.

  • Product Roadmap Management – Developing and updating the product roadmap through interaction with business stakeholders and interfacing with other Product Owners.

  • Product Release Management - Decomposing product features into user stories. Working with the development team and stakeholders to create a release plan based on the product backlog.

  • Team Leadership – Motivating and guiding the delivery team, ensuring that all team members are effectively working together, communicating with other teams, deliver quality work, in line with the expectations.

  • Communication – Communicate frequently and effectively with all stakeholders on visibility of deliverables, release schedule, progress and performance. Ensure business stakeholders understand the solution and can engage timely and regularly to ensure successful delivery. Communicate with the team to ensure that they understand what is required of them.
