Your Challenge

As Service Business Development Manager Coffee you work on strategic plans and objectives. In this function you have regularly interaction with executives and/or major customers and you are the one responsible to make final decisions on operational matters. Can you help us to provide our customers the best service possible?

Your Responsibilities

The BG Coffee Service Business Development Manager will own, create and improve the service business strategies for BG Coffee. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the team in developing Innovative Business models for example by introducing a lease plan;

  • Grow after sales revenues by consumable accessories and upgrades;

  • Drive connected and digital requirements in future product platforms as key enabler to generate new sources of revenue;

  • Design support web enhancements to improve the consumer experience and avoid unnecessary product returns;

  • Participate with other senior business managers to establish strategic plans and objectives;

  • Support in a Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ) project involving: creation of a service platform for customers;

  • Take ownership for executing operational matters and ensure effective achievement of business objectives;

  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company;

  • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people;

  • Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements;

  • Develop territory plans and participate in strategic and tactical business planning;

  • Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers;

  • Interact frequently which involves special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization;

  • Planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods

  • Manage other Managers – usually more than one.

Your Team

As Service Business Development Manager BG Coffee you will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You will be reporting to the BG Manager. The team you will join is made of dedicated and professional colleagues who are proactively supporting the commercial organizations in executing business plans and growing our Coffee business internationally.

Job Requirements

In order to successfully perform this role, you have:

  • Experience with generating recurring revenues models;

  • Digital after sales experience;

  • A proven track record in financial/analytical thinking;

  • Strong communication and personal skills including the ability to manage non-hierarchical relations;

  • Perseverance and you are a self-starter who is results oriented;

  • Experience with business modelling and proposition creation;

  • Lean experience which is shown through various projects within previous functions;

  • Experience with program and project management;

  • A Master’s degree in combination with >10 years of related experience;

  • To be able to work in a multicultural environment within the framework of a complex matrix organization;

  • To be able to write and speak English fluently.
