The Commissions Controller supports the North America Healthcare Business Market Combination with a focus on North American Sales Commissions for the Health Systems business lines. This successful applicant will manage the overall commissions’ process working cross organizationally with HR and Sales Operations.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Play a critical role in ensuring the sales forecast, balance sheet and income statement is accurate and proper business controls are in place.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Managing the overall commissions process ensuring all activities performed (both direct and those of A&IC) are performed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Developing and managing the accurate forecasting process, deliver forecasts in support of Rolling Forecast and annual budget (AOP); as well as, track and manage SPIFF programs if and when they are implemented.

  • Work closely with HR team to analyze alternative incentive programs and propose alternatives to management to simplify calculation and payment processes and/or improve linkage between sales compensation and overall business objectives and/or reduce commission exposure

  • Own FP&A related activities associated with commissions process, bridge analysis of actual to plan and determine accrual amounts

  • A creative problem-solver who can see the big picture implications and unintended consequences of various commission program alternatives; with the ability to identify, synthesize and prioritize key issues involved with commissions program administration and resolve roadblocks

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Businesses or Technical Discipline (or equivalent)

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics; working closely with sales analysis or providing tools to sales teams

  • Experience in high tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses highly preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills to design, construct, and execute multiple complex analyses for facilitating the development and evaluation of commissions programs

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organization with diverse requirements and objectives

  • Capacity to work in a complex systems environment as there are multiple systems and pay programs that must be well understood and communicated

  • Willingness to dive into the details to understand and effectively communicate the periodic financial impacts of commission programs

  • Incentive compensation experience in a sales environment a plus

  • Experience with SAP and Callidus a plus
