Philips Learning Specialist & Content Development Manager in Andover, Massachusetts

Your challenge

As a Learning Specialist and Content Development Manager, your portfolio will include an exciting mix of learning design and development projects focused on building specific capabilities in the business and/or functions. In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling specific tasks related to learning design and development.

You will be responsible for

  • Fulfill specific tasks related to learning design and development including learning content storyboarding, learning content design and learning project management

  • Work with subject matter experts and content experts to ensure that baseline ‘source content’ can be adapted for the purposes of learning

  • Partner with all parts of Philips University team [including academies, delivery engine, learning technology, process teams] NA Field Marketing and global Business Units to ensure that learning deliverables are scalable, cost-considered and ‘operationally excellent’ in implementation

  • Work closely with Sales Training and Enablement team members, Field Marketing, Philips University and other cross business groups to transform raw content into robust, interactive e-learning modules for consumption by the sales organization

  • Maintain robust navigation and search capabilities in Philips asset management tool and just in time learning resource (OneSource).

  • Stay abreast of advances in web design in order to keep Philips’ just in time learning resources fresh and relevant

  • Produce and publish learning modules in Cornerstone (Philips LMS solution)

  • Champion content best practices and drive deployment across marketing teams.

  • Monitor and develops strategies to drive the usage of enablement tools.

  • Analyze and report on key sales enablement metrics.

  • Develop scalable tools to facilitate knowledge transfer across field organization.

  • Develop a strong understanding of Market Group segments and channels.

  • Maintain knowledge of products, services and third party partnership that comprise PH Market Solutions.

  • Stay current on enablement tools and best practices

  • Conduct focus group feedback of key user groups for process and tool improvements.

Your Team

In this role you will report to the Director of Sales Training and Enablement Operations and will also work in close partnership with our Content Development team based in Pune India, as well as learning portfolio / program managers in the academies in the Philips University.

We are looking for

  • Degree qualified in organizational learning and development, adult education, psychology, HR development or a related field

  • Demonstrated professional working experience in various aspects of the end-to-end learning cycle including needs analysis, learning design and development, learning delivery and learning evaluation.

  • Hands-on experience in content creation and story boarding, including strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills, understanding of SCORM fundamentals for e-learning interoperability standards, HTML 5 publishing experience, strong understanding of website development & design, strong technical audio and video recording skills, proven publishing skills in Storyline, Captivate and Articulate and some knowledge of is considered a plus

  • Experience manipulating and navigating Cornerstone or other similar learning management systems

  • Familiar with iOS platform and mobile learning devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.)

  • Proven ability to interact professionally internal stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

  • Experience in an international matrixed / complex business environment.

  • Ability to work across individual, team, organizational boundaries and in a culturally diverse and virtual work environments

  • Project management, consulting and contracting skills to effectively implement strategic learning projects across complex matrix global organizations

  • An ability to effectively communicate ideas: influence and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives without formal reporting relationships

  • Have a vision on innovative learning and have a hands on, no nonsense approach

  • Flexibility and agile to work across various projects and thrives in complex and often ambiguous situations

  • Willingness to learn and commitment to growth and continuous development

  • Self-driven and independent, yet strong team player and collaborative

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal)
