Philips Sales & Market Specialist- Patient Monitoring (Andover, MA) in Andover, Massachusetts
Support the sales organization in winning profitable deals and increasing market share. Key activities include providing product, clinical and technical and support tools and training to the field. Provide the commercial teams with the direct support to order acquisition including presentations to customers and support at local market exhibitions. Attend tradeshows and manages customer visits. Support the commercial team with all aspects of deal strategy including competitive positioning strategy, pricing strategy, presentation strategy and knowing when to bring in the right resources to close the deal. Respond to product configuration and other product questions, competitive information, and product training.
Provide support to account managers and sales specialists for assigned products, systems or services and/or geographies. This role has significant impact on sales productivity and efficiency. Support, offload and drive key processes that enable the sales teams to focus their attention on customer relationships and maximize order intake.
Work collaboratively with sales organization to ensure:
Single point of contact and “go to” resource for sales teams pre-quote and post-sales support
Asist the field in the development of account strategy, positioning, and competitive information
Point of contact for the field regarding clinical, technical and workflow questions to explain how Philips solution can address the customer needs
Evaluate processes and ensures completion of pricing and discount requests. Escalates for proper approval and ensures discount requests are concise and comprehensive, process is efficiently tracked, and approver’s questions are addressed promptly
Differentiate commercial versus service escalations and ensure that service escalations are routed to service organization
Through understanding of organization and business, identify and mobilize appropriate resources
Liaison between sales team and site visit team to coordinate efficient and professional site visits and customer presentations that help Philips establish vendor of choice
Attend the Sales meetings in support of their assigned geographies
Participate in the development and continual improvement of sales processes and tools
Manage commitments and expectations effectively to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
5 + years’ experience in any of the following fields considered: Sales, Information Technology in healthcare/med-tech, or a clinical background
Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and customers
Collaborative mindset to work with cross-section of sales, and service resources. Strong customer service mentality.
Proven experience in technical, clinical or healthcare market
Contributes to high performing team dynamics by being a peer leader
Well-developed interpersonal skills amongst peers, management and customer leadership
Takes lead in the resolution of complex customer issues and works diligently to resolve them in a timely manner.
Strong organizational and time management skills

25% travel required
