Sales & Market Specialist

Your Challenge:

Provide support to account managers and sales specialists for assigned products, systems or services and/or geographies. This role has significant impact on sales productivity and efficiency. Support, offload and drive key processes that enable the sales teams to focus their attention on customer relationships and maximize order intake.

Your Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with sales organization to ensure:

  • Single point of contact and “go to” resource for sales teams pre-quote and post-sales support

  • Evaluate processes and ensures completion of discount requests. Escalates for proper approval and ensures discount requests are concise and comprehensive, process is efficiently tracked, and approver’s questions are addressed promptly

  • Evaluate processes and efficiently escalates Change Order requests

  • Differentiate commercial versus service escalations and ensure that service escalations are routed to service organization

  • Evaluate, logs, tracks and drives to closure Commercial escalation issues into the OneEMS and MakeRight tool

  • Through understanding of organization and business, identify and mobilize appropriate resources

  • Liaison between sales team and site visit team to coordinate efficient and professional site visits that help Philips when VOC positioning

  • Attend the Sales meetings in support of their assigned geographies

  • Follow escalation procedures to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

  • Participate in the development and continual improvement of sales processes and tools

  • Manage commitments and expectations effectively to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivilant experience

  • 5 - 9 years in related field preferably in high tech or healthcare/med-tech solutions business

  • Knowledge of etC02 (gas monitoring), jaundice, or feeding products a plus

  • Extensive knowledge of Imaging Systems sales processes including sales operations associated systems (SAP, Siebel, DAS, Make Right; Salesforce.com a plus.

  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and customers

  • Collaborative mindset to work with cross-section of sales, and service resources. Strong customer service mentality.

  • Product technical, clinical and market expertise

  • Contributes to high performing team dynamics by being a peer leader

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills amongst peers, management and customer leadership

  • Takes lead in the resolution of complex customer issues and works diligently to resolve them in a timely manner.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to look at complex tasks in creative and effective ways

  • Ability to handle and prioritize competing high priority tasks

  • 25% travel required
