Philips Senior Embedded SW/GPU Development Engineer in Andover, Massachusetts
The Senior Embedded SW/GPU Development Engineer position provides the successful candidate with an immediate opportunity to be involved with the manufacture of technology that is helping to save lives, improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of medicine across the globe. In this role as a Senior Embedded SW/GPU Development Engineer, you will design, implement and test ultrasound components which integrate with the overall feature design and implementation. These tasks will encompass, as necessary, a broad range of software development disciplines including application, driver and other low-level programming, with special emphasis on the signal path development. You will own the successful delivery of the software components as well as all associated multi-phase software process deliverables including software test and requirements management.
This role will be a part of the Ultrasound Platform Development team in Andover, MA.

We are looking for
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
7-10 years in software development engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing signal processing algorithms on GPUs
Proven experience with CUDA or OpenCL
Parallel programming algorithms and techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of DSP fundamentals and image processing is a plus
Experience with adaptive GPU-based signal processing algorithms is a plus
Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus
