Philips Senior Product Manager, Data Warehouse and HSOI in Andover, Massachusetts

An opportunity exists for a Senior Product Manager, Data Warehouse and HSOI for our Patient Monitoring business. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the creation and evolution of our strategy to monetize data from the Patient Information Center iX to our Data Warehouse product, which is used for long-term data archival and research. This role will also be responsible for creation and evolution of our strategy to monetize data from the Patient Information Center iX to our Health Suite Open Interface for 3rd party partners.

The Senior Product Manager will work together with R&D, Services, other strategy & marketing groups, and our field organizations to develop a common understanding of customer needs and to develop an aligned strategy that will deliver to those needs.

The Senior Product Manager owns the product lifecycle from concept phase through development and launch and eventually end of life. The Senior Product Manager is required to have expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.

The Senior Product Manager will also develop appropriate sales enablement content and help support downstream marketing activities.

You will work together with R&D, Services, other strategy & marketing groups, and our field organizations to develop a common understanding of customer needs and to develop an aligned strategy that will deliver to those needs.

The Senior Product Manager owns the product lifecycle from concept phase through development and launch and eventually end of life. The Senior Product Manager is required to have expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.

The Senior Product Manager will also develop appropriate sales enablement content and help support downstream marketing activities.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation across global markets

  • Define product platforms that support growth, product evolution, modular designs

  • Work across R&D, Services, and Operations (helping lead “heavyweight teams” where applicable) to develop integrated offerings that meet the needs of priority customer segments, tailored by market

  • Develop business models for Data Warehouse and for HSOI with value-based pricing

  • Coordinate pricing across product lines and markets to ensure profitable growth

  • Develop business cases for new products and services for consideration in the portfolio management process

  • Develop business requirements for new products and enhancements to existing products; work with R&D on functional specifications and feature/function prioritization

  • Work with Field Marketing to develop product launch plans and assets that will enable the market sales teams (e.g., conduct presentations ahead of new product launch)

  • Conduct customer executive presentations, coordinated as part of sales campaigns with priority customers

  • Drive overall execution of development and launch of products/solutions in all markets as part of a cross functional business team including BG/BIU Management, Sales, Field Marketing, Operations and Finance

  • Own development of global new product/solution training content

  • Develop and maintain three-year strategic vision for product road-map (for internal stakeholders and customers)

Requirements :

  • Experienced with gathering voice of the customer, conducting market research, and synthesizing key insights into new products and services; comfortable with making data-driven tradeoffs, decisively

  • Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and introduction date targets

  • Demonstrable communication skills and ability to drive development of market leading products/solutions

  • Experience with defining and launching informatics products for in-hospital use

  • Experience with different business models for monetizing data

  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Informatics or relevant field; MBA preferred

  • At least 5 years experience in Product Management, Marketing, Product Development or related field
