Your Role

Senior Project Manager with global responsibility for project managing the creation of new services for PCMS. The Project Manager will work directly with global teams of service product managers, administrative design, delivery design, finance, sales and delivery organizations in the markets, and others to create and launch PCMS services in all markets. This person will also work with PCMS Services leadership to improve the Service Generation Process. This is a pivotal role in PCMS Services that creates services that save lives and improve healthcare, while also driving growth and competitive differentiation in the markets.

This position is closely aligned with the Services Project Management team and this person will ensure consistency of approaches and standards as well as to help develop the project management function for the Services business.

Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with a number of internal and external partners located around the world will be key to your overall success.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead services creation projects, following the Service Generation Process, with global teams. Project teams will need to analyze requirements, create work breakdown structures with level of effort required, define quoting and ordering processes, define delivery requirements, launch to markets, pilot service to validate the cost basis, and provide verification of the outcome of the service - all in order to meet the service and market requirements for the offer.

  • Ensure consistent approach to format and delivery of the offers as well as alignment with other services offers in the presentation and delivery to customers.

  • Key activities include (but not limited to): Lead and direct teams accountable for achieving project objectives, effective integration of new systems and technologies, meeting time and budget requirements, directing all project resources in accordance with guidelines, in order to realize the desired business goals for the projects; determine project risks, define corrective action and track the projects to closure.

  • Specifies the staffing of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used. Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.

  • Reports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for each project.

Your Team

A team of Services Product Marketing professionals with global responsibility for defining and managing a complete portfolio of services. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Services Product Marketing, you will collaborate and interact frequently with Global and Market-based field marketing as well as with both global and local service delivery teams. Together, we lead the market and continue to shape healthcare globally.

We are looking for

  • BSc, MSc, or Business Degree

  • PMP certified

  • Minimum Philips Project Management Certification at Practitioner or Expert level

  • Experience with Service Process development and/or product generation process

  • Knowledge and experience greater than 10 years working in a high technology / healthcare environment.

  • Bring business acumen to projects; comfortable making trade-offs, decisively.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and launching new services or products through direct and indirect channel partners.

  • Record of accomplishment in project management and cross functional leading teams for complex projects with demanding targets for feature, cost, quality and introduction date.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization across multiple international locations.

  • Proven change agent who is willing to actively promote new ways of doing business.

  • Lean Certification preferred
