Role within Procurement organization. Defines, designs and implements Procurement processes and systems within E2E/PIL framework, support Business Process Owners to complete PEPF, and responsible for deployment of programs and projects (a.o. SAP, PLM, Purchase-to-Pay, strategic design workshops).

As a Sr. Manager of Process and Systems, you embed continuous improvement into the organization driving procurement operational excellence. You will enable the Procurement organization by creating and enhancing process flows that improve quality, reduce risk, and eliminate waste. You will pro-actively support Procurement strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate business analysis on procurement and commodity cluster performance. Your work will enable stakeholders to make fact-based sound business decisions.

Your responsibilities

  • Set the strategy and direction for Process and Systems in Procurement

  • Define, design, and implement Procurement processes and systems within the overall Philips Integrated Landscape Framework

  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities including developing business cases when appropriate.

  • Create meaning out data by create cutting-edge reporting to drive organization improvements

  • Use data driven analytical rigor, and lean expertise to accurately identify issues that lead to sub-optimal performance and their root causes.

  • Drive projects ensuring rigor in project execution, deliverable, timing and status reporting.

You are a part of

This position is open in the Patient Care Monitoring Systems (PCMS) business. You will work together with Procurement & Commodity Engineers and report to the Procurement Engineering Business Partner.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Proven experience designing and implementing best in class procurement processes and systems

  • Ability to persuade middle, senior & executive management using excellent communication skills and tools

  • Exceptional problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of purchasing controls in regulated environments

  • Exceptional Excel skills complimented by SharePoint and Database Knowledge

  • Ability to rapidly learn new data tools

  • Structured, process and result oriented way of working

  • Project management experience

  • Effective at navigating matrixed organizations

  • Keen business sense, MBA preferred

  • Background in engineering, procurement and/or operations
