Philips Sr. Manager in Andover, Massachusetts

Your responsibilities

  • Manage a team focused on highly complex operations producing state of the art medical devices

  • Become a highly visible, hands-on team builder to motivate, coach, support and lead the Production team.

  • Collaborate with the Operations, Supply Chain Engineering, finance, and R&D teams to optimize Supply Chain processes, specifically applying Lean principles from the start.

  • Drive efforts to address regulatory compliance issues related to production. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of regulatory compliance.

  • Use strong project management skills in support of Business Goals for Cost Savings, Assurance of Supply, Inventory and Quality.

Preferred candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Management, or equivalent.

  • At least 7 years’ experience as a people-manager leading a team of direct reports

  • Proven leadership, persuasiveness, initiative, project management, lean knowledge and problem solving skills are necessary for success in this position.

  • Demonstrated Project / Program management skills. Proven track record of on time, in-scope and in budget project delivery.

  • Intermediate/advanced PC skills, MS Office and Microsoft project applications is required.

  • As a key representative to many internal and cross site partners, must be organized, efficient, and possess very strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to plan, organize, and direct both work flow and personnel is required.

  • Must be assertive, self-directed, and a good team player.

  • Previous Operations and direct Supervision is a must.

  • Green belt/black belt certification is a plus.

  • Six Sigma experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Medical device GMP is a plus

  • Experience with high volume manufacturing is a plus

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
