Strategic Programs Director, Patient Monitoring
An opportunity exists for a Strategic Programs Director within the Patient Monitoring group. The successful candidate will be expected to work across the organization to formulate strategy around new ventures and as well as lead strategic programs around business organization/transformation/integration to execute on key strategic initiatives. The role will involve working with leadership to actively define focus areas for future activity, as well as establishing and leading strategic venture programs. This is a pivotal role in the organization and will drive new venture pipeline and programs that shape the future of patient monitoring.

Help formulate the future strategic directions on assigned business domains. Determines the relevance of domain for Philips, assessing the value of new developments and identifying new opportunities for Philips. Develop strategy recommendations for key product portfolios in patient monitoring.
•Build business cases and concepts that maximize strategic advantage across the patient monitoring business. Work together with key stakeholders to develop and manage a vibrant venture pipeline including organic and inorganic growth strategies. Work with group strategy, alliance and M&A teams to develop the patient monitoring venture pipeline
•Manage new business deals and help negotiate strategic venture contracts.
•Manage complex business integration programs ensuring successful integration of new ventures and initiatives ensuring budget and schedule commitments are achieved.
•Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Keep abreast of market, competition, technical, application and societal developments showing understanding of the Philips position and business interests.
We are looking for:
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years recent experience in top tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Roland Berger, etc) MBA required.
•Proven success in managing a strategic venture pipeline, experience in M&A/Alliances and business integration a plus
•Proven success in driving strategic initiatives across a matrix organization
•Experience healthcare informatics solutions desirable
Ability to think critically and strategically on key business topics and synthesize diverse information into strategic recommendations.
•Expertise delivering complex business transformation and integration programs
•Proven leadership, communication skills and ability to influence colleagues
