Philips JD for Architect - SIG (CDPP) in Bangalore, India

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Work with Business and IT teams in understanding strategic demands and build world-class Mobile solutions in a rapid, agile environment

  • Develop rich Mobile applications using state-of-the art application technologies

  • Define the E2E solution strategy in align with business requirements to develop professional applications including Integration and Testing

  • Own and drive End-to-End responsibility of the technical solution in all Mobile development areas

  • Support Product Owner with non-functional requirements, technical criteria for Definition of Done

  • Supports Scrum Master in Grooming, effort estimation and detailed planning by defining and estimating work break-downs

  • Support testing for implementing key/critical modules and quick working prototypes

  • Interface with stakeholders for Requirement analysis, designs, solution clarifications

  • Review and ensure world class quality of the deliverables

Role Competency

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of work experience in product based SW development with demonstrable previous experience as solution lead/solution designer role

  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Mobile App development projects as Technical Lead / Solution Designer role

  • Exposure in one of the Mobile platforms (Android and/or iOS Platform)

  • Cross platform experience will be added advantage

  • Excellent command over the different SDLC tools

  • Proven ability and curiosity to quickly learn new technologies and a keen interest in working with global team for solving complex business needs

  • Strong background in innovation development projects and comfortable with managing the funnel from relatively vague requirements to well defined project with committed stakeholders


  • Advising Scrum Master, Product Owner & the team to complete the job

  • Guiding and coaching the project team in technology, domain, process and tooling

  • Provides inputs towards the performance appraisal of the team members

  • Acts as a role model, motivate the team to excel in their respective domain
