Philips Hardware Development Engineer in Bangladesh - Home Based, Washington

As part of the R&D team you will help develop the electronic hardware for the next generation medical ultrasound machines, participating in all phases of development from requirements, circuit design, simulation, test development, characterization and release to production. Strong fundamentals for analog, mixed signal design and signal processing skills desired.

Familiarity with hands-on application of test equipment for both analog and digital measurements with strong troubleshooting skills.

The candidate must be highly motivated, self directed and capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment. The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills for conveying technical approaches, tradeoffs, risks and to make recommendations through peer and customer reviews. The successful applicant will be able to plan, analyze, design, test and document hardware under proper guidance.

You are responsible for

  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles

  • Understanding of the HW development processes

  • Strong Analog Design fundamentals

  • Hands on experience with test and measurement equipment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • MS in EE or Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • 2 or more years hardware development experience

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges

  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills

  • Knowledge of Analog signal design fundamentals

  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing principles desirable
