Philips Assistant Collection Manager in Beijing, China

Conduct the AR activities, including collection, cash forecast, AR reporting, and other related activities. Ensure an effective dispute management process. Handle the resolution of issues with internal and external parties, including customer site visit. Review AR Aging Reports, Bad Debt Provision on a regular basis and make dynamic analysis with sales and management, recommend actions and ensure proper follow-up. Monitor KPI results to meet the global deployed target, including the quality of service delivered by external party (Infosys) Work on continuous improvement programs to standardize and improve the efficiency of Accounts Receivable process. Ensure that adequate and effective internal controls are in place and that processes and policies are established and documented in compliance with corporate requirements. Support global & regional projects & initiatives in AR Management process. Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager Month end closing

You are responsible for

Work closely with sales team to customer site, provide on-site monitoring and trainings on collection skills to related sales resp. Review AR Aging Reports, Bad Debt Provision on a regular basis and make dynamic analysis with sales and management, recommend actions and ensure proper follow-up. Work on continuous improvement programs to standardize and improve the efficiency of Accounts Receivable process. Ensure that adequate and effective internal controls are in place and that processes and policies are established and documented in compliance with corporate requirements. Support global & regional projects & initiatives in AR Management process. Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager

You are a part of

in AccOps Order to Cash Cycle and conduct AR collection activities to HS business, including collection, customer dispute management, AR reporting, and other related activities.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strong learning willing and capability.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills, excellent conflict management skills.

  • Experience with LEAN practices and metrics will be a plus.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus.
