Philips Clinical Consultant, CI Product in Beijing, China
Provides technical and clinical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
Assists the Pre-sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications.
May provide follow-up support to company Pre-sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
Clinical Consultant- CI product
We are looking for
Clinical consultant, one of which are critical part of the CI business marketing team along with the Product Managers. Their goal is to ensure products/solutions meet and exceed desired clinical outcomes and human factors/user experience specifications. They are involved in all phases of product/solution pre-sales support and product lifecycle management. Clinical consultants spend 30-40% of their time in the market with clinicians, supporting clinical trials field trials, and high priority customer concerns. They spend the rest of their time representing the voice of the clinician in the department, driving clinically oriented and human factor innovations.

Identify clinical and healthcare economics benefits by designing and executing user trials and clinical trials; translate results of trials into a compelling value proposition (including product/solution claims) that resonates with the clinical end user.
Provide ongoing and actionable feedback to the BIU/CDI to continuously improve the design of the products / solutions
Train Sales, PS and clinical application specialists on the clinical value proposition of new products/solutions by demonstrating product during launch event or customer visit.
Support high priority accounts with clinical product/solution issues when escalated beyond clinical application specialists (SCS)
Represent voice of clinician at PHC by spending time in market gaining a deep understanding of end users’ clinical workflow and operational requirements (30-40% of time in market)
Engage in enterprise solution projects, define scope of requirement to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
Maintain customer engagement post-Live to validate the value our solutions deliver and to ensure customers are positioned as strong reference sites
Minimum 10 year experience in clinical and technology aspects of IT or healthcare IT
Experience in defining business problems in healthcare and able to clearly articulate the customer’s needs in the form of clinical workflow and information needs
Experience in working in project teams and in the crafting of customer solutions
Able to lead workshops and projects in customer engagements
Able to articulate clinical best practices to clinical personnel in a way that invokes trust in the individual and in Philips as a partner
Preferable to have exposure of software solutions and solution-selling methods
