The Data Architect is responsible for:

  • Data architecture for structured, semi-structured & unstructured received from clinical partners

  • Define the Data Architecture Roadmap with the Architecture group and Product Managers

  • Data management planning, strategy and execution including data privacy aspects and data lifecycle management from creation to archiving

  • Definition and enforcement of data creation/access/deletion/transformation policies

  • Ensure Governance, Risk and Compliance management for data sets

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in this exciting new initiative

  • Coordinates data management activities

As Data Architect you deal with the vast amounts of data (structured, semi-structured & unstructured) collected and processes in our Data Lake. This data needs to be managed on data governance, -risk and -compliance aspects under a regulatory regime. The Data Architect is responsible to define the data architecture, data management strategy and data ingest and processing methods on technical and tactical level.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree in Information Management, Computer Sciences or related field

  • Experienced in Big Data projects including Data Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Knowledgeable in Big Data, Data Analytics, Data warehousing and Business Intelligence

  • Familiar with regulatory and privacy aspects of medical data sets

  • Communicates confidently with Software- and System Architects

  • Who is quality-conscious, structured and a team player

  • Fluent in English
