Philips Pricing Officer, Computational Pathology in Best, Netherlands

  • Support product management to set and implement pricing strategy, customer end prices (target/ limit prices) based on value based pricing models (software product focus)

  • Collect and monitor competitive price points in the market

  • Implementation and roll-out of pricing tool for a product/region; drive project execution in line with Global Pricing goals

  • Provides the standard configuration or building blocks to set the prices

  • Regularly analyses and reviews the actual sales prices and margins and initiates corrective actions with Product management; Analyse price variances, margins and suggesting improvement in pricing strategy

  • Generate adequate reporting to support tool implementation

  • Tracking and analysis of critical pricing indicators; linking pricing strategy with NPS, market share

  • Manage links with key stakeholders in marketing, sales, business development and account management

The pricing intern will directly report into the Head of Product Management for Computational Pathology and collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary functions. We work closely together with our customers, their customers, and our partners.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in Business, Management Science, Mathematics or Economics required. Masters degree a plus;

  • 3 years of relevant experience in pricing, field marketing, strategy or product management;

  • Strong experience in software product pricing. Knowledge about healthcare IT is a plus;

  • Experience in understanding business requirements to simply into the Lifecycle catalogue;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports and projections;

  • Experience in performing in complex environments and the ability to interact with customers and other stakeholders;

  • Fluent in English, willing to travel (10-15%) and enjoying interactions with a variety of people with different background and personalities.
