In this role specifically, you have to deliver Programs requiring transition from (international) development into stable manufacture and supply with external partners, to meet Home Clinical Monitoring business needs.

Your team

When you walk into work you will be joining a truly entrepreneurial team of over 330 employees spread across 8 countries, all passionate about defining the future, growing the business and having fun. You will be considered an “early joiner” to the Philips Emerging Businesses family which plans to expand itself by approximately 700 members in the next 3 years.

Your team is in UK and the local team in Best is a start –up organization and will grow in the nearby future into a mature organization.

Your responsibilities

As a Program Manager you:

  • Are responsible for implementing the Home Clinical Monitoring assigned Programs within set budgets and timeframes

  • Proactively drive program and project structure, reporting, planning and execution to agreed timelines

  • Work with a variety of development/manufacturing partners across Europe to deliver Programs.

  • Preparing planned protocols and reports on progress, liaising with Emerging Business BG Quality & Regulatory to ensure supported compliance, through to completion.

  • Provide the point of communication for Home Clinical Monitoring with internal and external development partners.

  • Ensure performance testing is conducted robustly, independently and within the accepted framework set by the Emerging Business BG Quality & Regulatory team.

  • Developing technical and/or engineering expertise in each Program to facilitate top to bottom ownership.

  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing quality, including prototypes. Aim for right first time approach.

We are looking for someone with a…

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering with expertise to enable ownership at all levels.

  • Experience as a Project / Program manager within a multidisciplinary technical environment with preference within medical devices / healthcare.

  • Proven track record of delivering multidisciplinary projects on time and on budget, possibly with startup business expertise.

  • Transition development programs into stable manufacture, with accompanying metrics, deliverables, SLA’s (where relevant), Q & R compliance experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) in order to communicate with multiple layers and stakeholders in- and outside the organization.

  • Willingness to travel 20%

  • Knowledge of Haematolgy is a big plus.
