Philips Social Media Manager in Best, Netherlands

Your challenge

In this dynamic, newly created role, we are looking for a social media dynamo to build a winning content marketing and social media strategy for our Healthcare B2B channels that increases the company’s brand awareness as well as drives customer engagement, acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally strong in social marketing strategy, execution, and analysis. You will be working from Amsterdam and Best.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cross-channel social strategy that translates customer needs with business and marketing goals into meaningful deliverables in order to maximize return on the company’s investment.

  • Produce and publish content across channels and formats (blog, videos, podcasts, Tweets etc.)

  • Design social strategies for diverse campaigns in collaboration with Marcom management

  • Support marketing communications managers and marketing teams in development of content appropriate for social channels

  • Manage internal and external contributors to develop compelling, engaging content

  • Assure that all content is optimized for search engines, sharing and distribution across channels

  • Establish and manage work flow for creating, editing, publishing, translating, and retiring content

  • Drive customer engagement through the development and execution of a social media strategy and deployment of content across key social channels

  • Manage Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube profiles and leverage to engage customers

  • Monitor and analyze social and media coverage about Diagnostic Imaging and Image Guidance Therapy (or other relevant news) and determine appropriate actions to be taken

  • Create buzz and build followers through social connections and channels

  • Explore the use of new social channels

  • Contribute to development of and support SEO plan to increase organic search rankings

  • Direct internal and external copywriters and bloggers in creating SEO friendly content for social channels?

  • Utilize content and social to increase inbound links and maximize site quality score

  • Work with IT to optimize website architecture, page titles, meta tags, urls, etc.

  • Design and implement plan to expand user generated content on the website/portals in order to enhance the user experience, improve SEO ranking, generate referrals and customer reviews.

  • Work with digital marketing analyst to improve reporting capabilities and analytics in order to maximize efficacy of SEO, Social, Content Serve as the company’s Social marketing expert by maintaining a pulse on the latest issues, developments and trends in social media.

Your team

  • You are working in a global marketing and digital communication team (20 people) and you will be closely working with product marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications and with the Brand, Communications and Digital team.

We are looking for

  • A completed Bachelor degree

  • Minimum 2-3 years of digital experience and management of a variety of social media channels for a large brand, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Flickr, YouTube, etc.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Proven track record of success in driving social strategy across channels

  • Exceptional writing/editing skills and the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business

  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves individual who can take control of the full social media life cycle, with proven abilities to build a brand online.

  • Must be a passionate advocate and user of social media, traditional media, and online communities

  • Ability to analyze digital data, and draw relevant conclusions from the data in strong collaboration with the digital analyst

  • Exhibit sound judgment to determine potential crises and ability to determine need to elevate within the organization.

  • Familiar with HootSuite, Radian6, Sprinklr or other similar publishing/monitoring platforms

  • Ability to think creatively whilst being firm enough to make, and act upon, clear decisions

  • Experience working in Healthcare and understanding of regulations is a pre

  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal)

  • Flexibility to work in Amsterdam and in Best
