In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work on a completely newly designed Scanning Software Platform for our Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems (MRI Systems).

You are responsible for

  • the detailed requirements, the re-design, and implementation of parts of the scanning software;

  • Gather, define and write the detailed requirements specifications, usually based upon higher level system requirements & the system design specification;

  • Create a design of the software, on the basis of the detailed requirements, so that the software in question will be reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain;

  • Define the detailed test design and test specifications.

MRI is one of the youngest and most innovative imaging technologies and is growing in applications but also in complexity of the systems and their acquisition techniques. It is the most suitable technology for soft tissue imaging due to its non-invasive character. Also, the imaging of neurologic and cardiovascular structures is of key importance for our MRI products.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Required skills

  • Master’s degree in a software related study (Informatics, Physics or Mathematics);

  • 3 to 6 years working experience;

  • Extensive experience with C++ / C# and object oriented software development

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Drive to understand and explain complex matters

  • Scripting languages – Ruby, Perl

Preference

  • Knowledge on MRI related topics is a pré
