1) To provide direct assistance to Sr Pricing Manaer to build up a Global Reference model for PCMS. 2) To provide direct help to Pricing Manager to build pricing proposals for markets to use for comercial pricing implementation
Philips PCMS is already a market leader in Advanced Pricing Analytics - we are key presenters in global conferences on our success. The biggest challenges are our very complex product structure and size of our business data.
We are looking for an intern that is a natural problem solver and has advanced analytical skilled to help us build up very advanced analytics tools.
These tools will be serving on Business Improvement which will bring significant financial impact for a 2.5B Euro business. You will be exposed to an industry leading business intelligence platform for the tool creation.
To help the Global Pricing team to build up various Analytics Tools for business improvement serving close to 1000 users from all around the world.
The BI platform we use is provided by Qlik, the leader in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
You will be working with 4 other Pricing Managers who are also advanced BI Application Developers.
You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a suite of applications.
The work will also include the analysis of user requirements, locating data sources, designing a process to load and validate data as well as publishing and sharing the application.
The PCMS global pricing team is consists of 7 Global Pricing Managers, 5 is located in Germany, one in US and one in the Netherlands. The team is led by the Direct of Global Pricing and supported by an Administrative Assistant.

To be considered, you should possess the following:
Currently pursuing a Masters degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Finance, Business Administration
Ideally already pricing related working experience, Advanced Data Visualization experience is high want
Good business understanding and result orientation
Strong analytical & problem solving skills and advanced knowledge in Excel
Strong communications skills in English
Ability to work in a team-based environment
