In this role, you have the opportunity to

“design” Market Research for convincing business recommendations for action. You’ll organize qualitative and quantitative research studies to generate actionable insights. You contribute to a high growth business that delivers innovative solutions across this health continuum, empowering people to live life to their fullest potential.

You are responsible for

  • Identify customer insights in selected Healthcare segments (e.g. Patient Monitoring)

  • Competitive Intelligence, Customer Intelligence and Business Intelligence for selected businesses

  • Create, and maintain a global Competitive Intelligence Network, in order to make collaboration for collecting, analyzing and distribution of competitive intelligence is helping to drive business growth

  • Develop and share recommendations for action with Marketing and Sales based on ad hoc studies, desk research analyses and share

  • Responsible to organize/realize research studies for defined Business Units from external partner selection, briefing, reporting until results presentations

  • Work with corporate Market Intelligence (MI) teams on market share analysis, and other ad hoc MI request from PCMS management as well as Philips Board of Management

You are part of

The Market Intelligence Team, the team advises Patient Care and Monitoring Systems (PCMS) Business Units in any market research requests to gain customer insights. They develop and implement entity/product line market research plans in line with business objectives to anticipate and predict changes with customers, markets and competitors.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Marketing, Market Research, Statistics

  • 7+ years experience in the area of market research, ideally in the area of Healthcare and minimum 3 years at a market research institute

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies

  • Design and estabilish competitive intelligence

  • Project and program management skills

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex coherences in a simple and comprehensible way

  • Distinctive organizational skills, strong customer orientation and quality consciousness

  • Fluent in English, German strongly preferred
