Philips Healthcare – North America Commercial Operations Program Management Office (PMO)

In this role, you will have to ramp up quickly to not only understand where business critical data resides, but also how the different systems interact with each other. You will be responsible for creating synergies and consistency of reporting among different businesses and work with internal customers made up of a cross-functional teams. You will need the ability to work with large and complex volume data sets and the ability to present this data in a meaningful way to drive business conclusions. This position demands both business analysis and reporting expertise with ownership of the business need for data quality assurance processes required to support critical business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with various functions across the organization to provide business intelligence reporting

  • Providing first-time right and timely reporting to a diverse audience

  • Develop and distribute key performance metrics for PMO initiatives

  • The ability to simplify complex data into easy to comprehend analysis

  • Reporting requirements may include, but is not limited to Order/Revenue Intake, Market Data, financial movements, Master Data, and more

  • Creating a systematic and repeatable approach to report creation and data audits

  • Continued data validation and quality control checks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience demonstrating a propensity for analysis, working with numbers, and ability to take on increased responsibility in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • 8+ years of experience in SQL programming in T-SQL building stored procedures and jobs

  • 5+ years of experience in identifying and mapping data elements across multiple systems including creating templates and best practices to maintain the mapping information

  • Strong understanding of data integration, quality and validation

  • Agile thinker possessing creativity, curiosity, problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Experience with SQL Server in a VMWARE or AWS environment

  • Experience with SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and Reporting tools (Excel, PowerPivot)

  • Experience with SAP and SalesForce.com

  • Understanding of MDM, Data warehouse / Data mart

  • Independent thinker who is persistent, resourceful, and resilient

  • Able to work in an ambiguous environment with complex undocumented business logic and data flow

  • Comfortable and able to thrive in a matrixed organization

  • Open and adaptable to new responsibilities, different perspectives, ideas, and people.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Clear understanding and experience with Microsoft platforms, including Windows operating systems for both desktop and server.

  • Knowledge of physical database administration with SQL Server a plus

  • Experience in logical and physical data modeling

  • 4+ years of experience extracting data from Salesforce.com database objects using API calls via SSIS, DataLoader, and other ETL tools; familiarity with SOQL (Salesforce SQL)

Make an impact within Philips by serving as a subject matter expert and working closely with many cross-functional teams.

You are responsible for

  • Meeting with key business stakeholders to prepare business case, scope, assumptions, and deliverables for projects.

  • Identifying and documenting business processes, including opportunities for improvement. Analyzing inefficiencies in existing processes and recommending specific changes to effect improved efficiencies.

  • Serving as liaison between stakeholders ensuring that process changes are understood and implemented.

  • Creating workflow diagrams, processes and procedure models.

  • Providing critical reports and analysis for stakeholders, and facilitating the decision making process as appropriate.

  • Overseeing business processes for identified departments and functional areas.

  • Experience in project management

  • Advanced analytical and conceptual skills with ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions

  • Ability to build consensus and work through others in achieving goals and objectives\

  • Advanced skills with PC tools (Access, Excel, Visual Basic)

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills
