We are searching for passionate engineers to join us as we strengthen our product portfolio, expand our services and solutions, and bring game changing technology to market. This team member will be responsible for working collaboratively with a team of cross-functional engineers. Our products use various bio sensors to display and analyze the current state of a patient. The Electrical Engineering candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating these systems into our new products.
We’re looking for the candidate to have the following qualities:
Curious, smart, and creative
Good judgment and decision making skills
1+ years experience in a medical or other regulated industry.
Own the battery pack design from specification to production.
Participate in the development of batteries for the next generation hardware.
Develop and evaluate new circuits for use in battery pack design.
Develop and drive the test plan for battery pack design for engineering validation and production testing.
Debug issues with the battery chemistry and BMU circuits.
Review pack designs for battery safety and other performance.Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
1+ years of experience in embedded hardware development, ideally in a regulated industry.
Can coordinate with multiple team members and has great communication skills.
Experience with Li-Ion battery operation, performance, and safety.
Experience with battery BMU design. Experience using battery tester.
Able to use tools such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, IDE’s and emulators for debug and test
Basic soldering and lab skills
Analysis of circuits using SPICE simulations.
Experience with Matlab for performance analysis.
Understanding of broad and system-level technologies and the ability to read, interpret and review data sheets and design specificationsPhilips is an equal opportunity employer.
