Supplier Account manager Finished Goods Medical (FGM)-Consumer health

Your challenge

In a context of Global Procurement reorganization, working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. procurement peers, Marketing, Engineering or Quality) and external suppliers mainly located in North America region to develop and implement strategic commodity plans at the lowest total cost (TCO). This includes contribution of procurement strategy with the Global Commodity Manager on Medical OEMs and Supplies/Accessories for both manufacturing and Service (spare parts). Accountability for overall supplier relationship management including long term assurance of supply, supplier performance and information/data management.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 20M€ spend on Medical OEMs and Supplies/Accessories

  • Build and maintain a preferred supply base for the assigned scope

  • Facilitate in/outsourcing decisions from a TCO point of view

  • Lead Supplier performance evaluation

  • Drive contract and price negotiations

  • Gather relevant benchmark data, supply market intelligence information

  • Lead or participate in the Scouting, RFQ generation and supplier selection process

  • Apply continuous improvement of processes & technologies to support materials & service

  • Contribute to supplier risk identification/assessment and propose mitigation plan

  • Ensures compliance to Procurement Policy

  • Support Quality Team regarding supplier Quality assurance document collection

Your team

Part of the Global Commodity Management Team. Direct report to the Global Commodity Manager FGM-Consumer Health. The location is NAM (preference for Andover or Bothell).

We are looking for

  • Master degree (Business administration or Engineering)

  • Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in dynamic context, medical industry is a plus

  • Recognized for Leadership/influencing skills

  • Ability to work in a Global matrix environment

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

  • Fluent in English is a must

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
