Material Handler 3
Operations : Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection, storage and fulfillment (shipping) of materials within assigned storage locations are completed accurately. Ensure bin locations are maintained and materials are labeled appropriately. Audit shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Complete data entry and file records of material movements and other records. Maintain training in TEDs. Work with internal customers and external suppliers as required, and communicate the needs of the workgroup. Ensure all communications are answered promptly, (within 24 hours) and accurately.
Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the implementation and/or sustaining of a LEAN culture to maximize resources, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiencies in the end-to-end customer value stream. Ensure departmental Q-D-I-P targets are met. Prepare for, participate in and comply with all internal and external audits and inspections. Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate in improvement projects (Kaizen, QEK, or other). Projects must align and help support the overall business objectives:

In this role, you have the opportunity to
Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse.
Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.
You are responsible for
Shift: Monday thru Friday 6am to 3:30pm hours
could vary due to overtime could be weekends too
Safely use pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment. Must wear safety toed shoes..
You may lift individually 25lbs regularly. Work with Team lift up to 50lbs occasionally

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Previous Material Handler experience preferred.
Previous experience in using pallet jacks or other transport equipment
Education: High school or GED. Associates or equivalent experience is a plus.
