Philips Point of Care Ultrasound Clinical Product Specialist in Bothell, Washington

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide clinical guidance to R&D teams during product development to ensure product performance meets intended uses.

  • Perform optimization of all modes of operation on transducers to be offered and supported in product release.

  • Lead clinical evaluation activities of ultrasound product features, functions and transducers prior to the product release. Activities include defining evaluation protocols, clinical site selection, data collection sheets and site monitoring.

  • Produce effective verbal and written reports that communicate evaluation results

  • Provide project leadership for clinical verification and validation of new products, features, upgrades and enhancements.

  • Provide support to Global Marketing and training organization to include the development and presentation of training materials on new products and features.

  • Effectively acquire marketing quality images to Global Marketing teams for product introduction, marketing materials and tradeshow displays.

  • Provide clinical support for new product introduction and trainings

  • Provide clinical support and expertise for in-house demonstrations

Critical Skills:

  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge and scanning proficiency across Point of Care ultrasound applications such as emergency medicine, critical care, anesthesiology and other bedside ultrasound uses.

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Willingness to work in an open-office environment located in Bothell, WA.

  • Excellent communication skills (English verbal & written required)

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated, detail orientated and proficient at time management

  • Ability to function independently

  • Ability to multi-task that allows for simultaneous projects to be completed in tandem

  • Ability to travel four (4) consecutive overnight stays

  • Ability to apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer or internal issues where needed.

Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA in related discipline is preferred

  • Current ARDMS or equivalent credentials in relevant field(s) (RDMS, RVT, RMSK)

  • Requires clinical scanning experience of at least 10+ years

  • 5+ years of specific experience in point-of-care Ultrasound strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience in commercial ultrasound highly desired

  • Successful screening clearance of previous employment, criminal, educational (credit) and credential verification.

  • Knowledge of point-of-care market landscape desired.

Your Role

  • Develops clinical roadmaps for an application area, based on in-depth knowledge of clinical trends, technical possibilities, market segmentation and health care development, in order to contribute to the innovation, business development, product development and implementation of the strategy of the business.

  • Establishes, maintains and expands a global network of peer contacts in the assigned scientific community, keeps up to date with innovations in medical applications and technologies in order to develop and maintain clinical roadmaps for his application area.

  • Participates in Marketing and Development strategy and product policy meetings.
