Philips Sales and Operations Planning Manager - Ultrasound in Bothell, Washington

Your responsibilities

  • Provide critical insights to North America Key Stakeholders to help drive revenue and inventory performance in Ultrasound

  • Work with Sales and Commercial Operations Leadership on incorporating actions, programs, or promotions into revenue forecast.

  • Develop inventory forecasts and underpin it with fact-based data / assumptions

  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

  • Supporting the realization of booked sales orders up till invoicing (e.g. ensuring production capacity is available, determine priorities in case of supply shortages, coordinating crucial shipments, etc.).

  • Provide appropriate and accurate data used in S&OP Handshake Meetings with the Ultrasound Business Group.

  • Maintain KPI’s that measure success of objectives and drive continuous improvement in the S&OP process.

  • Work with factories and Business Group partners to ensure all barriers to revenue are mitigated and cycle time goals are achieved.

  • Manage the MDIR Acceptance Process for Ultrasound

  • Maintain the Ultrasound Order Backlog and identify key actions to appropriate stakeholders

  • Work with Commercial Operations to ensure appropriate orders are invoiced under Philips global policies

  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain current and accurate information is used for monthly, quarterly, and yearly demand forecasts.

  • Complete all requested reports on time.

You are a part of

Our North America Ultrasound business, reporting to the Director, Sales and Operations Planning. The Ultrasound S&OP Manager is a key position within Philips HealthTech Commercial Operations organization. You will facilitate and drive results in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in demand management, planning, and supply chain management

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other functions to achieve overall business objectives

  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment requiring a high level of collaboration

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management both inside the company and with customers

  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and their financial impact

  • Demonstrated track record in leveraging continuous process improvement to resolve complex supply chain, project management or implementation issues

  • Self-starter with ability to work in a matrix environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required, SAP knowledge strongly preferred, Tableau preferred

  • MBA preferred
