As an Sr. Software Engineer in the Supply Chain Product Engineering group, you will be part of a dynamic team that defines and delivers software solutions to support the full lifecycle of our production lines. You will be expected to take ownership of your assignments and be given the authority to make decisions that drive project development to completion. We are looking for

  • 5-10 years of software development experience using .NET Technologies and SQL Server

  • Excellent programming skills using C# , MVC4 and SQL server

  • 3+ years experience in web development, distributed database design for high performance, concurrent usage

  • 3+ years experience in automated unit/UI testing, scripting, continuous integration

  • Ability to constantly learn and use new technologies

  • Experience working in an Agile SW team using SCRUM

  • Demonstrated experience in integration of hardware and software tools

  • Ability to think creatively, propose solutions and ideas

  • Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices for scalability

  • Candidate with Bachelors degree in CS, EE or related disciplines with 5-10+ years of relevant work experience

  • Ability to mentor peers , team members

  • Preferred skills: Experience building cloud based applications, experience with advanced data analytics, experience with mobile app development

Your Team

As an Sr. Software Engineer in the Supply Chain Product Engineering group, you will be part of a dynamic team that defines and delivers software solutions to support the full lifecycle of our Ultrasound production lines. You will be expected to take ownership of your assignments and be given the authority to make decisions that drive project development to completion. You will be asked to complete projects and deliver quality work in a demanding yet fun and rewarding environment. You are responsible for

  • Managing a repair department and its related processes and staff to deliver products cost efficiently, according to planning and quality requirements.

  • Directs and coordinates the development and implementation of repair process activities with in the Service Operations Repair Center to meet global fill-rate targets, quality criteria (DEFOA’s), and cost objectives (AOP).

  • Allocates the appropriate resources to achieve repair schedules, ensuring field replaceable units (FRU’s) are available to meet daily customer demand throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Plans, creates and administers procedures and annual operating plans as well as managing responsible expenses.

  • Manages a team of skilled technicians and assemblers performing test and repair of complex printed circuit board assemblies, sub-assemblies and manufactured equipment.

  • Selects, develops, leads, coaches and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operations.

  • Responsible for interacting with Field Service on a global basis to address and resolve issues, along with process improvements that streamline field repair activities and costs.

  • Responsible to ensure Ultrasound achieves best-in-class CQ, IMV and NPS scores, as they relate to parts and planning support for the Field.
