Philips Usability Engineer in Bothell, Washington
We need a Usability Engineer who is passionate about healthcare and can support creation of compelling, intuitive user interfaces for a broad range of healthcare related solutions.
Participate in user centered design approach including analysis, exploration, story telling, concept design, prototyping, user testing and finalization. Translate customer needs, research findings and business requirements into usability requirement specifications.
Define usability evaluation plans and conduct and coordinate usability testing activities and ensure usability engineering is applied according to international standards.
Design is a strategic function within Philips and you would be a member of a global multi-disciplinary team inspiring each other to deliver best in class products used by clinicians, patients, healthcare consumers and healthcare administrators.

We are looking for
Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design or related field
3+ years of user centered design experience developing medical and/or emergency medical response devices and software solutions
Strong analytical and usability testing skills
Proven knowledge of usability methodologies for hardware and software, processes and standards for software
Experience with the regulatory requirements for medical devices
Collaborative team player
Self-Motivated, pro-active thinker
