In the Sleep and Respiratory (SRC) business, we anticipate that the patient will play a significant role in their therapy & device choice in the future.

Based on insight from patient, the global team released the SleepApnea.com site, using the messaging “Take Back Your Dreams” offering content that will educate & motivate both the undiagnosed and diagnosed consumers.

  • How do we increase awareness for those who are undiagnosed?

  • How do we reach and influence the diagnosed patients to make them part of their treatment decision, product selection and engage them in the direct selling process

  • How to reach the patient through the already existing public healthcare sources.

We are looking for a data-driven marketer whose main focus is to generate and activate content for our multi-channel campaigns, keeping the messaging and focus in line with our overall sales and marketing strategy. You shall play a key role in our demand generation activities. Ideally you are someone who has experience in cross channel content creation; crafting marketing messages across CRM, video, social, web and other content channels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the definition and implementation of the social media and digital content strategy for consumers and medical professionals;

  • Develop and implement with the support of channel, digital and local digital and marketing team promotion and activation plan (RDD, PI) to drive sales through Philips web based Flagship Store

  • You will monitor, manage, and create local promotions that would include managing digital nurturing programs, and digital analytics

  • You will work closely with local marketing and local digital marketing to implement advertising, promotional programs/campaigns to drive new sales to site. Recommend ways to improve our customer experience during the transactional sale.

  • You will assist in creating, driving, monitoring and evaluating activities to drive traffic to our Philips Flagship Store using the Digital @Scale program to deploy your campaign

  • Localize and activate sleep apnea consumer activation

  • plan and execute a complete customer centric marketing project

  • Find new distribution channels for our content

  • Develop and maintain a content marketing calendar in line with business strategy, consumer insights and category dynamics;

  • Generate stunning content to support our multi-channel awareness and conversion campaigns;

  • Establishing relationships with topic experts to create and market industry-oriented content;

  • Collaborate closely with our E-commerce and CRM lead to further optimize content and social commerce, and translate insights on consumer and purchase behavior, into actionable campaigns and programs.

  • Guard the tone of voice and branding in everything we make.

  • Track the performance of our content, identify optimization opportunities and quickly embed them in new content Deliverables:

  • A clear Promotion and activation plan for the online flagship store for RDD and PI that will be implemented and generate tracking reports to evaluate the sales

  • A local patient activation website Belgium and the promotional tool as well monitoring tools that will show the traffic and patient engagement.

The position is based in Brussels, Belgium

This is a passionate and dedicated team with an entrepreneurial spirit in which your views will be encouraged and your growth will be fostered.

You will be leading a consumer-centric marketing project that requires interactions with the local business & clinical team, local digital team as well the global team (Channel Marketing & Digital Marketing – Digital Service) as well with legal and privacy officer and externally with the support of the business and clinical local team, you will be in contact with the medical community and patient’s associations.

You will need to have a good comprehension of the Benelux healthcare structure, and digital communications, so that you can interact and discuss what the best approach would be to engage and convert patient/customers to our SRC products.

We are looking for

  • A completed Master’s degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of total experience, including 4+ years’ experience specifically spent in community management, social media management, and/or brand communications, for a brand (builder)

  • Experience in health domain and health care professionals a strong plus

  • Experience in a dynamic matrix/complex international organization

  • Strong passion for digital & web savvy, with experience in producing a variety of online content

  • Conceptually minded, able to gain deep insight into target audience and translate them into actionable programs and execute them accordingly

  • Have a strategic view on digital B2C and an entrepreneurial mind set

  • Excellent writer. Must be willing and able to write both short- and long form

  • Fluency in English Dutch and French (verbal & written) speaker and writer required
