Your challenge

We are looking for a Service Designer who is passionate about innovation that improves people’s health and the care they receive. Someone who has proven ability to create compelling and valued user experiences that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Your responsibilities

As a service designer, you will be responsible for contributing to a user centered design approach across all phases of the design process – from analysis, exploration, concept development, prototyping, evaluation and implementation. You will work to understand and translate user needs and business requirements into compelling, efficient and highly effective designs working primarily on a range of healthcare related connected sensing propositions.

Specifically, you will create user scenarios and service blueprints that describe the end-to-end customer experience, touch points and back-end service delivery systems that reflect the needs of users, customers and our brand values. You will plan and help facilitate co-creation workshops and collaborative sessions with potential users, partners and customers as you work together to develop better solutions together.

The team

Design is a strategic function within Philips. You would a global multi-disciplinary team inspiring each other to deliver best in class products and services used by clinicians, patients, consumers and healthcare administrators.

We are looking for

  • Masters / Bachelors Degree in Service Design, Interaction Design or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant user centered design experience

  • Strong analytical, creative and visual skills

  • Working knowledge of mobile and web technologies and prototyping tools

  • Experience working within agile software development processes

  • Collaborative team player

  • Self-Motivated, pro-active thinker

  • Proficiency in English
