Philips Interaction Designer in Cambridge, Massachusetts


Your challenge:

Ideally, you will have experience designing enterprise and consumer software and be familiar with agile development methodologies. Though this experience, you’ve cracked the code on how best to present designs within a fast paced, technicaly-minded environment.

You will be open minded, believing that designers are not the only sources of creativity as you embrace a multi-disciplinary process that is sensitive to user needs and human factors rigor.

You are also happy to dive into the challenges that come with a company in transformation and want to help contribute to that positive change. You are transparent and collaborative and believe that teaming up is the best way to achieve lasting results.

Your responsibilities:

You work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to explore ideas and ultimately set the direction for the visual interface design of our software. You will apply and contribute to evolving our design language system and help interpret design requirements to create elegant and beautifully user interfaces.

Your Profile:

• You have a 4-year degree in visual design, interaction design or related field

• You have 2+ years' relevant experience

• You have worked in the development of software applications

• You have a strong aesthetic and visual sensitivity

• You are passionate about designing products to improve people’s lives
