Your challenge

We challenge you as a System Engineer in our Radiology Solutions business unit. As Philips creates new opportunities out of the ongoing Healthcare Transformation, you will be responsible to break down the customer needs in technical requirements. The System Engineer oversees the implementation and is accountable for meeting the customer needs during implementation.

Responsibilities

  • As the specialist, tests the customer’s ideas for feasibility.

  • Translate the customer’s ideas into technical concepts.

  • Adds new elements /concepts to the professional field.

  • Responsible for the overall concept at systems level.

  • Tackles and solves complex, new problems.

  • Develops new insights and communicates them to own organization.

  • Innovates on the basis of own expertise.

  • Overview of the whole professional field, inside and outside Philips.

Seeks ‘explanations’ for the technical problems that arise from design to customer use.

We are looking for:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in development

  • Bachelor´s degree is required.

  • Experience in Big Data management, Business Intelligence and User Interfaces.

  • Experience in Healthcare is preferred.

  • Experience in Agile SW development, SAFe Agile knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to lead through influence.

  • Solution driven mindset

  • Excellent communications skills,

  • Ability to travel (up to 30%)
