Scrum Master

Your challenge

Philips challenges you to use your SAFe knowledge and skillset to coordinate events and manage the output of development team. Your role as a Scrum Master at includes facilitating a conducive work environment for the Scrum Team, guiding and teaching Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project and clearing impediments for the team.

Your responsibilities

As a scrum master you are responsible for:

  • Being the Scrum coach of multiple local/remote project teams

  • Co-work with other agile and quality assurance experts to address challenges in the project environment

  • Drive the adaptation of an agile mindset in the development teams

  • Ensure a proper usage of the team collaboration IT infrastructure in all project teams as part of productivity and quality assurance measures

  • Supports the product owner in his efforts and facilitates a healthy intra-team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope

  • Collaboration with project managers to ensure the reporting and progress monitoring requirements

Your team

You will be part of product development core team and report directly to development team manager. The Scrum Master only works as a facilitator and he or she is at the same hierarchical level as anyone else in the Scrum Team.

We are looking for

  • A recognized Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or relative discipline;

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent

  • 3+ year software development experience in a professional environment using agile methodologies

  • 3+ years of scrum master or relevant agile leadership experience

  • Knowledge of SAFe & Lean preferred

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management and influencing skills

  • Strong oral and written English

  • Self-motivated, good communication skills and good team player
