Philips Sales, Zone Manager- Digital Pathology Solutions- Central in Chicago, Massachusetts

Your Challenge:

Digital Pathology Zone Sales Manager will cover a specified geography, manage regional managers assigned within the zone, creates and implements the zone sales strategy and the sales plan, including sales forecasts. The DPS Zone Manager will execute sales according to the Philips DPS sales process in North America. These sales will be targeted at clinical clients (Academic Medical Centers, Cancer Centers, Community Hospitals, Large Labs and IDN’s) and research clients. The incumbent will be supported by a sales operation team and an application specialist for advanced sales.

  • Entering all relevant data in the CRM (SalesForce.com) and maintaining it.

In addition to driving DPS enterprise sales, the regional manager will work with the Pharmaceutical DPS Enterprise sales teams and the computational pathology team.

Your Team:

Reports direct to the Head of Commercial Operations, North America.

Leads a team of sales managers.

His sales team is supported by other functions: product marketing, trade marketing, category management, logistics, F&A/HR,customer success teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop the zone strategy and is ultimately responsible for its successful execution.

·Will manage a team of regional managers whose territories make up the zone.

·Support the negotiation of sales and other agreements with partners and customers

·Determines the relevance of this national key account domain for Philips, assessing the value of new developments and identifying new opportunities for Philips.

·Oversees the global developments in his domain that are relevant for the national key account business, and determines the implications for his domain.

·Keeps abreast of market, competition, technical, application and societal developments in his domain, showing understanding of the Philips position and business interests.

·Builds a worldwide external network and makes this knowledge applicable for the business, now and in the future.

·Represents Philips externally on related issues, and spearheads international platforms. Is consulted as a senior specialist and asked for projects to investigate feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.

Typically requires a Master’s degree with >10 years of related experience in national key account management.

Financial Modeling, Superior Presentation Skills and C-Level Negotiation Skills, SFDC Experience, MS Office Suite Proficient
