Your challenge

Philips Nordic is currently looking for a Lean Champion, ie a project manager focused on driving Lean/Continuous improvement activities in the Nordic organization. Your main objective will be to enable our teams to drive higher sales and profitability through driving key projects and deploying lean practices across the Nordic organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Develops and leads lean/continuous improvement activities in line with local & global priorities related to e.g. capabilities, tools and new ways-of-working

  • Delivers lean/continuous improvement-related trainings, mentoring and coaching to all levels of the organization including management teams

  • Leads key improvement projects, from project definition to project closing

  • Co-responsible for Nordic market roadmap & performance improvements; deploys activities needed to support the roadmaps and targets

  • Identify key breakthrough needs & drive and facilitate improvement management for those

  • Communicate and articulate lean vision in the organization

  • Creates same language and common practices in lean/continuous improvement to develop and sustain new culture and ways-of-working

  • Works within a global team of peers to share best practices and adopt innovative ways-of-working

Your team

The Lean Champion is part of the Business Transformation team and reports to the Nordic Head of Business Transformation. The Lean Champion will work with all the Philips businesses including Nordic management teams.

You will be the Nordic representative in the global Philips Excellence/Lean organization.

We are looking for

  • Relevant university degree, e.g. business or engineering

  • Min 3 years of relevant experience

  • Significant project management experience; strong track record in delivering complex projects related to e.g. process improvements

  • Hands on experience working with and deploying lean practices; Lean/six sigma certifications are beneficial

  • Clear proof points in informal leadership and ability to manage and steer multiple stakeholders on all levels; an affinity for coaching, teaching and training

  • Proven track record in organizational transformation and change management

  • Showing persistence and strong drive for results while able to apply flexibility

  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language

The Lean Champion is based in Stockholm or Copenhagen. Travelling is estimated to 15%.
