As a Group leader in the Product Research Center (PRC) department your challenge is to ensure you and your team reaches consumer satisfaction targets with our product development in Male Grooming. Therefore you need to ensure the relevant processes, development framework and coach your team members. Next to your operational role ensuring the operational performance of your team, you have to ensure continuous knowledge development, develop new processes, grow your team and support in Product Research Architecture.

As Group leader you have clear operational, functional and hierarchical responsibilities for your team, bringing consumer centric proposition to the market. You report to the Consumer Research Manager.
You are safe guarding consumer satisfaction in the projects your team are executing, by clear verification and validation of consumer related deliverables in the product development projects.
You are continuously growing the competence and skills of your team
You will steer your team to be ready for anticipating to new consumer insights in an ever changing consumer dynamics.
You support to knowledge management and process improvement and drive personally special assignments to improve the collective conscience of the Consumer Research Center.

The Product Research Center (PRC) drives growing understanding of the consumer needs. The PRC focuses as part of a multidisciplinary team on development of the desirable product experience in Shaving, Grooming and Male Skin Care, by performing a range of explorative, qualitative and quantitative research with our own sensory panel or through external research agencies

We are looking for
Are you a highly talented Team Leader, with clear experience as Senior Consumer Researcher, with in-depth understanding of the drivers of ‘consumer delight’? Can you bring together the right balance of Leading Skills, combined with knowledge of consumer research, a problem solving attitude and pragmatism to develop your team in reaching consumer expectations in our products? And next to that do you have;
An university degree in consumer oriented educations, like Design for Interaction, Human Technology, Industrial Design, Psychology, Sensory Research.
3 to 5 years’ experience in product research, consumer science, industrial design, psychology or a product development.
Technical background with consumer mindset to be able to see the link between technology and consumers.
Affinity for consumer research methodologies and sound understanding of the underlying statistics.
Proven experience in leading a team
Good communication and influencing skills
Conceptual and analytical skills: you should be able to process a range of different data
Curious orientation towards consumers and customers: you have an outward focus
Excellent planning skills: you should know how to manage your advisory role in the project team
Proactive attitude: you should be able to take the lead and proactively represent the end-user in our innovation processes.
