Philips Supplier Quality Engineering in Drachten, Netherlands
Oversees the Quality Assurance in the processes related to the manufacturing of materials, components, sub-assemblies, and completed products and their supply chain, including compliance to regulatory requirements and/or procedures for regulated products/businesses. The processes include the introduction/validation of new/changed manufacturing processes and their associated Q systems, the trend analysis and monitoring of manufacturing processes and their environment, the remediation to non-conformances, and the development and improvement of Q systems.
Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques
Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and materials related issues.
Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources (8D).
Effectively communicate and reinforce Philips commitment to quality improvement efforts.
Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new tool or process design and startup.
Coordinate pre-launch production trial run process monitoring.
Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Maintain Control Plans throughout the life of the part and be the interface between Technical Support Group (TSG) who is responsible to maintain the Process FMEA's.
Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
Perform duties in accordance with quality system requirements as the voice of Philips customers.
Coordinate with Life Cycle Management (LCM) to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
Lead PPM (Part per Million) improvement plans for your Operation Group (OG).
Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques.
About 10% travel is required.

We are looking for
Candidate with Bachelor’s engineering degree
Relevant knowledge of ISO 9001
Good English communication skills
